To say it's been slow-going with the album reviews for us would be an understatement of biblical proportions (Ghostbusters). Trying to get the attention of your typical indie-rock snob is on par with trying to fish with an empty pepper-mill as a lure. Not so much for James Blake, Lyyke Li and the rest of the usual gang of idiots. For Street Meat, however, it's a different story.

Which brings me to my second point. The good people at Apartment613 (an Ottawa-based blog which concerns itself with the local art/music/movie/etc scene) came up with a fantastic review of our debut album DICK PARTY! Major props to them for throwing us a bone! Click here ---> BOOM!

A Show and an Interview!

1) Come see us play! THURSDAY, MARCH 10th at the ELMDALE TAVERN in Ottawa! We're opening for THOSE GULLS (from here) and HONHEEHONEE (from Montreal). Show starts at 9pm. 2) We're going to be featured on tomorrow's edition of A JUNCTURE on CKCU FM. That's 93.1 on the FM dial if you live in Ottawa and www.ckcufm.com if you don't. The show starts at 5pm and ends at 6pm. An interview and a couple of songs are what's in store. Just DO IT!
